Devasthanam Accommodations Fee Structure

The Temple has five lodging facilities for pilgrims:

1. Dhandapani Nilayam,
2. Karthikeyan Viduthi (Lodge)
3. Goshala Viduthi
4. Cottages; and
5. Velavan Viduthi (Lodge)

Dandayudhapani Nilayam	Devasthanam Cottage Complex

The special first class rooms in the Dhandapani Nilayam have been given a face lift with laying of Vitrified tiles, provision of air conditioning and solar heater at a cost of Rs. 1 crore. The first class rooms in Dhandapani Nilayam are being renovated at a cost of Rs. 1 Crore with 25% of the rooms to be air conditioned.

Note: The previous system of booking rooms in advance of three days and paying double the rent for those days during festival seasons has been abolished and normal booking system has been introduced.

1. Dandayudhapani Nilayam

This large facility is very near to the Hill Temple.

2. Karthikeyan Lodge

 This is very near to Dandayudapani Nilayam. It has double cot facilities in 78 rooms with all modern facilities.

 Single room per day rent is Rs. 160

 3. Small Huts

 In Giri Street, near to Tirukovil Head Office there are 66 Small Huts, 2 Special Huts & 1 small Hut Hall available.

3. Goshala Small Huts

Goshala small huts are near the Winch Station. There are 14 small huts available.

 Normal Day Rent  Rs. 200

 80 Rooms available further.

 Per Day Rent  Rs. 100

4. Tirukovil Chattram

 It is near to Palani Bus Stand, on the way to Palani Railway Station.

 Here there are 4 First Class rooms, 22 Second class rooms, and a big hall to accommodate 50 people.

Note: For all the above said rooms, the extra charge for each person is Rs.5.
